In a quiet home on the south side of Colorado Springs, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of Rebecca Lawrence, a 44-year-old Caucasian woman. On September 8, 2015, concerns grew when Rebecca failed to arrive for her job. A subsequent welfare check at her residence, located at the intersection of Southgate Road and Montrose Avenue, led to a grim discovery.
