Jacoby Jamale Pride, a 23-year-old resident of Americus, Georgia, passed away on February 14, 2024, due to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Davenport Street in Americus, where officers of the Americus Police Department were dispatched at approximately 7:00 PM to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers provided emergency aid to two gunshot victims until medical personnel arrived.
