Death by Force

Carlos Ruiz, 37, male, was found fatally wounded on a Sunday night at the intersection of Farnham and Union streets in Lawrence, Massachusetts, after being shot in the back. Police identified him the next morning, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Lawrence General Hospital. Investigators at the scene believed a 9mm handgun had been used.
