In the early morning hours of March 17, 2006, the life of 8-year-old Lionel Homsombath was tragically cut short in a violent act that also claimed the lives of his mother and sister in their Northeast Portland, Oregon, apartment. The young boy was found in the living room of his home, having been shot twice in the head as he lay on a mattress or blanket.
