The attack claimed the lives of four individuals, including Raygoza, her 50-year-old father Luis Tovar, 9-year-old brother Matthew Farias, and 58-year-old employee Leticia Solis Guzman. The shooting occurred inside an office building that housed Unified Homes, a mobile home brokerage business owned by Luis Tovar. Authorities reported that the suspect, 44-year-old Aminadab Gaxiola Gonzalez, had chained the gates of the complex shut with bicycle cable locks before initiating the attack. The incident was not random; investigators confirmed that Gonzalez had personal and business relationships with the victims. The shooter opened fire inside the building, and when police arrived, he fired at two officers before being shot himself in the courtyard.
Gonzalez was charged with four counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder, including two counts related to the attempted killing of police officers.
