Berlyn Fuentes Cosman, a 17-year-old high school senior from Crescenta Valley High School, tragically lost her life on June 2, 1991, in Orange, California. Berlyn was an accomplished athlete, having earned a scholarship to Missouri Western State College for her basketball prowess.
