Carolyn Oppy Stahl, a 44-year-old optometrist from Orange, California, was tragically murdered on November 20, 1999. On that fateful night, Carolyn and her husband, Kenneth Stahl, were found dead in their car on the shoulder of Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano. The couple had been celebrating Carolyn's birthday at a restaurant before the incident.
