Do you know who killed 19 year old Tien Hoang Truong in 1993?
On a late summer evening in Portland, Oregon, on August 28, 1993, a party was underway in the 500 block of NE 80th Avenue. The gathering was attended by a number of young people of Vietnamese descent. Among them was 19-year-old Tien Hoang Truong, a Vietnamese male from Seattle. Reports indicate that Truong was associated with a Vietnamese gang in his hometown, which had connections to a similar group in Portland.
