Who murdered 33 year old Juan Lopez Ramirez in 1988?
On a crisp autumn day in Portland, Oregon, the grim discovery of Juan Lopez Ramirez unfolded on October 9, 1988. He was a 33-year-old Hispanic man whose life had taken a tragic turn. Two friends, walking near Northwest 9th and Johnson, were led by a foul odor to a thicket of blackberry bushes beneath the Broadway Bridge onramp. There, hidden under wooden pallets, they found his body, which had been rolled up in a carpet. It was evident that he had been murdered weeks before he was found.
