KGW Staff. February 10, 2018. PORTLAND, Ore. – A man died after he was shot during a fight in Southeast Portland on Saturday morning, police said. At 9:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of Southeast Water Avenue and Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard. They arrived and found a man who had been shot. The man, who was not identified, died at the scene.
Homicide detectives said the shooting occurred during a fight between two men. The other man involved in the fight remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
