On August 6, 1980, 22-year-old Jeffrey Bartow was murdered in his apartment on NE 45th Avenue in Portland, Oregon. At approximately 3:40 p.m., Bartow answered a knock at his door, only to be confronted by two armed men who forced their way into the apartment.
