Death by Force

On March 25, 2024, 18-year-old Jamirion Smith-Belhumeur was fatally shot in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. The incident occurred near the intersection of Northeast 93rd Avenue and Glisan, where police were called shortly before 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Jamirion shot and wounded, but he succumbed to his injuries before he could be taken to the hospital.
