Kyle Tribble, 32, a Black male, was shot inside a home on Wickersham Lane in Milford’s Windward Grove development on the night of July 10, 2025. Officers were dispatched just after 10:20 p.m. and found him with a single gunshot wound; witnesses had begun CPR, and EMS continued lifesaving efforts, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified him as being from Philadelphia.
Investigators said an argument inside the residence preceded the gunfire, describing the incident as domestic-related. The location was in the 7500 block of Wickersham Lane, south of Milford in Sussex County, and the case immediately drew a homicide investigation by Milford Police.
The following evening, July 11, 2025, police arrested 42-year-old Joseph M. Greene of Milford in Bear, Delaware, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team. Milford Police announced that Greene would be charged with first-degree murder and additional felonies in connection with Tribble’s killing.
