On a late spring evening in Milford, Delaware, the life of Aaron Lee Jackson, a 34-year-old Black man from Bridgeville, was tragically cut short. On June 17, 2022, at approximately 10:04 pm, Milford Police were dispatched to the Brightway Commons Apartment Complex in the 100 block of Bright Way following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Jackson behind a residence, suffering from several gunshot wounds.
