John G. Harmon Jr., a 40-year-old Black/African American man, was killed during a violent home invasion at his residence on North Walnut Street in Milford, Delaware, during the early morning hours of August 8, 2015. Police were called to the home after three masked, armed intruders entered the residence sometime around 6 to 7 a.m. Harmon had previously been shot in 2012, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down and dependent on a wheelchair.
