Mihoko Koike Parsa, a 38-year-old woman from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost her life on April 14, 2019, in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. According to reports, Mihoko was found shot to death in her home located in the 9100 block of Foster Lane in Chatsworth. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon around 4:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered both Mihoko and her 46-year-old husband, David Kooros Parsa, dead from gunshot wounds in an upstairs bedroom. The investigation revealed that David had shot Mihoko while she lay in bed before turning the gun on himself.
The couple's two young children, a toddler and an infant, were found unharmed in the home and were subsequently taken to a hospital for observation. They were later placed in the custody of the county Department of Children and Family Services. Neighbors reported hearing an argument late Wednesday night or early Thursday, followed by two loud gunshots. There were no arrests made in connection with Mihoko's death, as the primary suspect, her husband David, was also deceased.
