Ben Mustafa, a 59-year-old man of Iranian descent, was tragically shot and killed on April 14, 2014, in his convenience store located at the corner of Ayers and Brownlee in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mustafa was well-known and beloved in the community for his kindness and willingness to help others. His death sent shockwaves through the community, and every year since the tragedy, a "memorial walk" has been held to honor his memory.
