In the early autumn of 1994, a 31-year-old Hispanic man named Bonifacio Rodriguez-Rodriguez had recently arrived in Oregon from Mexico, filled with the hope of finding work and building a new life. His journey, however, was tragically cut short, leaving a mystery that has endured for decades. On the evening of September 25, 1994, Rodriguez-Rodriguez was last seen alive, reportedly heading to the Hoot Owl Market off of Southwest Capitol Highway in Portland.
