Deshawn Pledger, a 30-year-old man from Portland, Oregon, was found dead on the night of Monday, January 8, 2024, in the Hazelwood Neighborhood. The body was discovered in the area of Southeast 106th Avenue near Division Street.

The Medical Examiner determined that Pledger died from a homicide by gunshot wound.
