On October 3, 2015, at 12:45 a.m., a tragic incident occurred outside the Pallas Club, located at 13639 SE Powell Boulevard in Southeast Portland, Oregon. Portland Police officers responded to a report of a shooting and upon arrival, they found 45-year-old Maurice Anthony Gatson suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response from both police and medical personnel, Gatson's injuries proved fatal.
