On October 11, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Downtown Portland, Oregon, resulting in the death of 47-year-old Ryan Martin, a resident of Southwest Washington. The incident took place at approximately 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Southwest 10th Avenue and Southwest Alder Street.
