Dakota J. Bachand, a 27-year-old man, was fatally shot on February 21, 2023, in Portland, Oregon. The incident occurred at a Motel 6 located on Southeast Powell Boulevard in the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood of Southeast Portland. Bachand was found by arriving officers with a gunshot wound and was subsequently taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
