On May 7, 2021, Nicholas James Potter, a 36-year-old Caucasian male, was shot and killed in a residence in Tigard, a suburb of Portland, Oregon. The incident occurred around 12:47 p.m. when Tigard Police Department officers were dispatched to a home in the 15000 block of S.W. 79th Avenue following a report of a domestic disturbance.
