On the morning of November 20, 2024, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to reports of a shooting at a hotel in the 8200 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Kimo A. Henriques of Vancouver, Washington, in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
