On June 4, 2016, Anthony Howard, age 35, was tragically shot and killed in Chicago, Illinois. Known to his friends as "Tweet," Anthony's death was a part of the larger gun violence crisis that plagued Chicago in 2016, a year that recorded an alarming 764 homicides. This represented a significant increase compared to previous years and contributed to one of Chicago's deadliest periods in decades.
