On the evening of March 23, 2015, in Hartford, Connecticut, a young Hispanic male named Julius Rivera, aged 20, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. inside an apartment at 17 Benton Street. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Rivera on the floor, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including one to his pelvic area.
