On July 26, 2015, Everett Scott, a 47-year-old resident of Hartford, Connecticut, was fatally shot while seated in his minivan on Kenyon Court in the city's North End. The incident occurred around 2 p.m., with Scott sustaining six gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
