On November 10, 2007, 30-year-old Efrain Rodriguez was fatally shot in the parking lot of MiBar restaurant on Park Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Hartford police officers, patrolling nearby around 1:45 a.m., responded to gunfire and found Rodriguez with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:04 a.m. Another individual, a 19-year-old male, was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the leg; he survived the injury.
