On June 23, 2021, at approximately 1:48 a.m., Hartford police responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating gunfire near Bedford Street and Albany Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his 20s who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his foot; he was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
