Murdered

On January 15, 2014, at approximately 9:41 p.m., Hartford police responded to reports of gunfire near 85 Sumner Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 33-year-old Mark McNickle in the parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Neighbors reported hearing seven to eight gunshots and observed a vehicle speeding away toward Asylum Avenue. McNickle was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:22 p.m.
