In the cold winter of 2014, the city of Hartford was rocked by its first homicide of the year. On the evening of January 15th, the sound of multiple gunshots echoed through the area around 85 Sumner Street. Responding to calls from concerned neighbors, police arrived to a grim scene in the parking lot. There they found 33-year-old Mark McNickle, a male, suffering from several gunshot wounds.
