Murdered

On March 27, 2021, 30-year-old Alton Akeem Veal Jr., a Hartford, Connecticut resident, was fatally shot. Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots around 7:30 p.m. on Enfield Street, where they found Veal with several gunshot wounds. He was transported to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
