On a late Saturday night in June 2019, the life of Mark Alan Moore, a 29-year-old Black/African American male, was irrevocably altered. Shortly before 11:40 p.m. on June 8th, the sound of gunfire pierced the air in the Hill neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut.
