In the brisk morning air of Saturday, December 21, 2019, the life of 23-year-old Edward Boo David Hallett, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in New Haven, Connecticut. Just before 11 a.m., gunshots echoed in the vicinity of 88 Daggett Street, leaving Hallett with fatal wounds. First responders found him at the scene and he was quickly transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, but the efforts to save his life were unsuccessful.
