On December 21, 2019, 23-year-old Edward "Boo" David Hallett was fatally shot on Daggett Street in New Haven, Connecticut. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m., when police responded to reports of gunfire and found Hallett suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
