In the spring of 2016, the life of Tysean Johnson, a 25-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in New Haven, Connecticut. On the afternoon of April 22, Johnson was discovered unresponsive inside a running vehicle on Huntington Street, located west of Winchester Avenue. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
