On April 22, 2016, 25-year-old Tysean Johnson was found unresponsive in a running vehicle on Huntington Street, west of Winchester Avenue, in New Haven, Connecticut. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Born on May 4, 1990, in New Haven, Tysean was known for his love of basketball, video games, rap music, and sneakers. He was a resident of West Haven at the time of his passing.
