On November 17, 2020, 24-year-old Tylee "Ty" Markael Bellamy was fatally shot on Grace Street in New Haven, Connecticut. Emergency responders arrived shortly after 8 p.m. and transported him to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In June 2023, New Haven police announced the arrest of 25-year-old Jonathan Frater from Hartford in connection with Bellamy's death. Frater, already incarcerated on unrelated charges, was charged with murder and robbery, with authorities ind ...Read More
