Calvin Washington, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot on September 30, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in broad daylight on North Tryon Street. Calvin was transported to Atrium Health Hospital by a private party, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on October 1, 2020.
