On the evening of June 15, 2022, Anthony Oden, a 49-year-old Black / African American male, became the fifth homicide victim of the year in New Haven, Connecticut. The day was marked by violence, with three other individuals wounded in separate shootings, but his injuries would prove to be the only fatal ones.
