On a cold Friday night in Hartford, Connecticut, the life of Corey Farrah Adbi Aziz, a 28-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On January 29, 2021, at approximately 9:12 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment building in the 1900 block of Main Street. Upon arrival, they found Aziz suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
