On February 22, 2022, at approximately 6:00 PM, Hartford police responded to a distress call reporting two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds at 161 Westminster Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men, later identified as 46-year-old Leon Kelly and 47-year-old Charles Kelly, both with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, both victims were pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital.
