On February 19, 2019, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Hartford police responded to a 911 call reporting an unresponsive male in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Woodland Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Joseph Goiangos III, a resident of Middletown, Connecticut, with a puncture wound to his chest. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
