In the late winter of 2014, a violent encounter in a Texarkana, Arkansas residence claimed the life of 25-year-old DeMarquis Reeves. On the evening of February 25th, gunfire erupted inside a home on Locust Street, leaving Reeves fatally wounded. The incident, which was characterized by law enforcement as a deadly shootout, resulted in a swift and intensive investigation by the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department.
