On July 15, 2014, 19-year-old Charles Lamont Boyd Jr. was fatally shot in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The incident also resulted in injuries to another individual. Boyd, born on March 7, 1995, was survived by his parents, Latricia Boyd and Charles Boyd Sr., as well as his child, Ca'melo Boyd.
