In the quiet town of Taylor, Arkansas, the life of 53-year-old Douglas Scott Harwell was brought to a tragic and violent end in April of 2016. A man known for his love of hunting and fishing, Harwell had worked for over two decades as a gauger for several oil companies. His life, however, was cut short when authorities were called to his home on Highway 160 on April 14th to investigate his death, which was quickly determined to be a homicide.
