On February 24, 2015, in Harrison, Arkansas, 26-year-old Daniel "Jake" Peebles and his 21-year-old girlfriend, Haley Brown, were found deceased in their home on Floyd Lee Road, both victims of gunshot wounds. The tragic discovery was made by a woman who had arrived to pick up her child, who was under Brown's care at the time. Inside the residence, two young children, including the couple's two-month-old son, were present but unharmed.
