In the late spring of 1934, a somber event unfolded in the quiet town of Harrison, Arkansas, forever marking its history. On May 25th, a dedicated and courageous 29-year-old male officer of the Harrison Police Department, Policeman Ed Williams, responded to a disturbance call with his partner, a routine part of their duty to protect and serve the citizens of their community.
The call, however, would prove to be anything but ordinary, escalating into a tragedy that would cut short a young life and leave a family grieving.
