In the winter of 2019, the life of Wiley Lamont Carr, a 43-year-old man, was tragically cut short in Little Rock, Arkansas. On the evening of January 16th, the sharp report of gunfire prompted a response from the Little Rock Police Department to West 29th Street after a ShotSpotter activation alerted them to the incident. Arriving at the scene around 7:30 p.m., officers discovered Mr. Carr with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the location.
