On the evening of May 19, 2021, a sequence of events in Sharp County, Arkansas, culminated in the death of 19-year-old Brendan Scott Charlet, a White male from Pierre Part, Louisiana. The incident began to unfold around 8:45 p.m. when law enforcement received calls about a man behaving erratically at a business in Ash Flat. By the time officers arrived, the individual had already departed.
