Patrick Kent Hardesty, a 40-year-old Caucasian male, was a dedicated Tucson police officer whose life was tragically cut short on the evening of May 26, 2003. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Hardesty had served with the Tucson Police Department for 11 years as a reserve officer before becoming a full-time officer for 19 months.
