Richard Faulks, aged 63, was found dead on October 30, 1977, in Akron, Ohio. The incident took place at 263 South Arlington Street, where Faulks rented a room above Steve's Photo Studio. On the morning of October 30, an employee of the photo studio arrived to find Richard Faulks lying on the floor with a fatal gunshot wound. Faulks had keys to the photo studio, suggesting that he may have had access to the premises before the incident occurred.
