Phoenix police identified the teen shot and killed in Phoenix on Friday as 16-year-old Faith Kies, of McHenry County, Illinois.

Kies was shot by 24-year-old Alexander O'Neill, her so-called "boyfriend," before he turned the gun on himself at his parents' home near Cactus Road and 43rd Avenue, said Sgt. Vince Lewis, a Phoenix police spokesman.
